Return- to- work interviews

How to carry out  thorough and effective return-to-work interviews, identifing the positive effect Return-to-work interviews can have on reducting levels of absence.

They can act as a deterrent to non-genuine absences as well as supporting those that have been genuinely ill.

Long Term Absence

Managers can often face problems when trying to manage long-term absences and support returning employees, this training will review some of the common issues that managers face when dealing with long-term absences and methods of overcoming them.

This training includes exercises to encourage participants to think about how they would handle a situation of long-term sickness absence, and provides guidance for use in the workplace.

Short Term Absence

Managing short-term absences effectively is crucial for organisations as they have a huge cost and are the most difficult to accommodate, this training will highlight some of the common issues that managers face when dealing with short-term absences and review some of the ways to overcome them.

Exercise to give managers and supervisors an opportunity to think through how to handle a persistent absenteeism problem will be included in this training package.
